KASESE, 3 July 2026 — The Minister of Tourism presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for a major eco-tourism infrastructure development project.
The project, funded under the KLICD Initiative, will construct a world-class eco-lodge and interpretive centre.
This project is a statement of our commitment to turning Uganda natural heritage into sustainable economic prosperity for our communities.
Project Components
The project comprises four main components: a 32-room eco-lodge, a 500-seat interpretive centre, a craft market, and upgraded access roads.
